7 Gilmore Girls-Inspired Outfits for Every Type of Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is almost here, which means there are two situations you need to prepare for:   How to successfully avoid those awkward conversations about your love life, and figuring out what to wear.

Even though you don’t have concrete plans on how you will be celebrating the holidays, you want to make sure that your outfit is cute enough to impress your family and comfortable enough to go for seconds. For the past three consecutive Thanksgivings, I’ve fallen into the habit of wearing the same exact outfit in rotating colors: Sweater, leggings, boots, repeat. It didn’t matter what my plans were.

During my last Thanksgiving break, I watched “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life”. I couldn’t get over how flawless all of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore’s outfits were. Ironically, their fall style inspired me to break out of my comfort zone and spice up my holiday look.
